Job Description
This position sits under the solution specialist team within the sales organization at Moody’s Analytics. The solution specialist is a pre-sales role and will work closely with the field sales teams throughout the entire sales cycle by providing deep industry and solution expertise related to Moody’s Risk and Finance suite of solutions with a key focus around Asset Liability Management (ALM) and Regulatory Reporting (BASEL)
Key Responsibilities
Adopting a consultative selling approach to identify and recommend the best fit-for-purpose solution tailored to client-specific business requirements and challenges
Preparing and conducting solution presentations, demonstrations incl. proof of concepts to clients and prospects
Responding to client Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs)
Collaborate with product, research, advisory, and customer success teams to align Moody’s Analytics solutions to industry trends and challenges
Document client and industry feedbacks regarding product experience and desired enhancements
Partner with the wider sales team to build the sales pipeline to promote Moody’s Analytics solutions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business Administration, IT or similar field
Minimum of 8 years relevant experience
Good knowledge of ALM / Balance Sheet Management domain - Liquidity Risk Management, Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP), Capital Management, Stress-Testing and other financial risks such as Credit and Market Risk
Good knowledge of key regulatory frameworks such as BASEL II/III, IRRBB, LCR/NSFR etc.
Good understanding of ALM/FTP methodologies including behavioral modelling use cases and their applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to present and articulate complex concepts confidently and effectively to stakeholders at all levels
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work in a high-pressure deadline oriented environment
Ability to travel up to 30% post-pandemic
Prior experience in a pre-sales role in a similar domain would be highly desirable and a plus
Additional qualifications such as FRM, PRM, CFA and other professional risk and finance qualifications would be an advantage
