Jacobs Adelaide team are expanding and hiring an Associate Drainage Engineer to join the team. As an Associate Drainage Engineer you will be responsible for providing consultancy, engineering services, technical input and direction for civil and drainage aspects in a range of transport infrastructure designs in the ANZ region.

The role will work alongside other Senior and Principal Engineers taking a lead role with project delivery, design management and project management, for positioning and winning projects involving a range of services. The role will assist commercial, project management, engineering and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects.

The role will support leaders, in terms of team development and growth, building design capability and growing the portfolio. Key to this role will be to lead the interface with GID delivery centres in order to improve delivery capability to meet targets and further develop understanding of civil principles. You will support your Performance Unit to ensure it can thrive in a global setting, encouraging cross-geography relationships in order to maximise the benefit of global delivery to our clients and our people. You will be mentoring and assisting in the development of more junior Engineers, particularly training in the use of civil analysis and drainage software. You will maintain and strengthen on existing client relationships, support thorough service delivery and manage technical relationships. #ANZTransport #APMETransport #LI-DG1

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Extensive drainage design and documentation experience in a similar project delivery environment
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of the design process, co-ordination of work with other design disciplines and the efficient management and delivery of projects
  • Work co-operateively and respect others’ opinions to achieve team goals
  • Demonstrate a history of contributing to securing and maintaining relationships with clients.
