Remuneration: $160,000 - $180,000 p.a.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Responsibilities:

(a) Lead the implementation of responsible projects to achieve project finance goals from Bid Defense preparation, proposal, to project budget, revenue and profit etc.

(b) Acts as the escalation liaison for the sponsors and instructor for GPMs/PMs of the responsible studies.

Supervise global communication according to PMP to proactively manage risks for the responsible studies.

Ensure the responsible study teams meet the sponsor contractual, organizational and relationship needs/expectations.

Ensure the GPMs/PMs provide regular reporting on project metrics, status of deliverables and risks/issues with the associated management plans to the sponsors.

Supervises and instructs the GPMs/PMs to chair and lead sponsor meetings.

(c) Ensure the GPMs/PMs Lead and direct cross-functional team leaders and third parties/vendors.

Instructs GPMs/PMs to complete responsible project plans to the expectation of sponsors and Tigermed requirements in a timely manner (multi-service plan including PMP, Risk Management Plan, MP and communication plan).

Defines metrics for reporting performance against projection.

Ensures all standard project systems and tools are set up correctly and function appropriately.

Supervise to ensure implementation of operational strategies as defined in the project plans and regularly reviews and revises the plans to ensure desired outcome.

Identifies best practices learnt during projects and shares across the organization.

Guides and supports team members in identifying and analyzing risks, prioritizing, trouble- shooting and contingency planning.

Ensure and drive completion of timely project handover wither quality per SOP, as needed between the out-going and the in-coming team members.

Liaises with functional leads/managers to optimize performance and utilization of project team members.

Establishes team goals, inspires individual ownership, and establishes processes to support project result accountability.

Ensure the internal monthly cross-functional project review meetings are held with actions being followed through.

(d) Manages project contractual deliverables in terms of project milestone payments and quality:

Ensure the project plans are established per study contract and sponsor expectation, including timelines, monitoring, resource, risk/contingency and quality planning.

Support the responsible GPMs/PMs to established quality standards for the projects, drive individual and team commitment to ensure quality is met, monitor quality of deliverables and implement corrective and preventative action as needed.

Manages project progress via metrics and proactive communication. PD will review Monthly Project Progress Report.

Monitors and ensures adherence to the contractual agreement (time, quality/scope, and cost deliverables).

Leads internal project status reviews and be accountable for action items follow up. Proactively identifies, resolves/mitigates and escalates risks and/or issues.

Ensure close out of all project activities upon project completion; performs financial reconciliation and system closeout.

(e) Ensure proper implementation of project scopes and project costs timely to manage control of project financial risk:

Proactively and timely identifies, negotiates and executes contract modifications for assigned projects, ensuring out of scope activities are approved upfront via contract modification.

Oversight GPM to identify potential or actual unrecoverable hours and provides analysis and mitigation/resolution plan for senior management’s approval.

In cooperation with BD and Finance departments, oversight efficient management of project pass-through costs (including investigator payments if the site contract is signed with Tigermed) to ensure all such costs are recovered in a timely manner, and in advance whenever possible. Project Milestones and Pass through costs must be updated monthly by Finance. PD to oversight GPM to include study Finance status into Monthly Project Progress Report e.g. Work Order and Change Order finalization, Payment Milestones and Pass Through costs are invoiced and tracked. Forecasts for payment milestones and pass though costs should be projected in the tracker.

Leads project financial reviews and be accountable for action items follow up.
Ensures timely invoicing for project milestones achieved.

(f) Ensures adherence to company SOP, policies and guidelines at the project level.

(g) Ensures projects comply with Tigermed processes and systems such as CTMS, OA, eTMF, etc., including escalation to relevant functional and operational management.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor degree or above in Medical, Pharmacology, or Biology related major. College Diploma can be accepted if the personal attributes and relevant clinical research experience are sufficiently justified.

Adequate knowledge of current drug development processes and regulations, including local regulations, GCP, clinical trial operations is a must, Current GCP certificate is required.

Minimum 5 years' industry experience is required.
