Immutable has built Gods Unchained, which is a complex, multilayered strategic game that allows users the ability to build strategic decks and play those against other players in a variety of game modes.

A bit about the role:

We are looking for a Test Automation Lead to join our Test Automation Engineering team. You will assist the team in building the next generation of test automation frameworks and drive the implementation of test automation strategies.This is a rare opportunity for an engineer to get hands-on experience with bespoke methods of automation within the games industry. The role provides the opportunity to pioneer the elevation of Gods Unchained test suites and frameworks and improve the quality of our development life cycle.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Build test automation frameworks and develop user critical path scenarios
• Identify and select user paths for automation as part of squad functional work
• Reporting coverage metrics and ensuring they are above the threshold
• Interact with Game and Software Engineering to identify engineer pain points that can be automated
• Document processes for improving automation approaches where applicable
• Improve and maintain automation framework for regression testing across Game Engine client as first priority
• Collaborate with team members to optimise and implement new automated solutions for longevity that improve release efficiency and speed across Gods unchained
• Improve and maintain automation framework for regression testing across multiple web platforms where applicable
• Contribute to software engineering and internal tooling where necessary
• Play an active role in elevating junior team members through knowledge sharing, support and technical training

Salary: From $160,000.00 per year
