Repair and service scopes - learn, assess, and execute repairs under guidance.

Join our team at MD Scopes in Warriewood as an Associate Repair Technician where you will learn and execute fundamental activities involved in the repair and servicing of flexible or rigid scopes.
As part of our team, you will ensure compliance with company policies regarding quality, safety, health, and environmental standards. This role involves maintaining strong relationships with fellow team members involved in scope repair and service.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of Endoscopes' functionalities
Identify and comprehend the working components of Endoscopes
Learn and understand the disassembly and reassembly process of scopes
Conduct minor repairs on scopes
Work under the guidance of a trainer
Complete Parts request forms
Promptly escalate issues related to Endoscope repair within the Repair team
Fulfil other duties as directed by your supervisor or manager
Quality, Health, and Safety:
Perform duties in line with company Quality and Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) policies
Adhere to relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions
Maintain a clean and safe workplace
Ensure activities align with the company's Quality System to ISO 9001 standards
Implement the 5 S Methodologies in the workplace
Comply with all policies, standards, or procedures related to health, safety, and the environment at the workplace
To be successful in this position, we believe you will need:
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and within strict deadlines
Proficient analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Experience in servicing or a technician role is desirable
Proficiency in working with intricate parts
Experience working within a workshop environment and the ability to sit for extended periods
Capability to work using a Microscope for prolonged periods.
