Business Assurance & Controls Management Expert – Credit Cards & Personal Lending (CCPL Tribe)

The CCPL Tribe supports ANZ’s strategic ambition to help people save for, buy and own a sustainable, liveable and affordable home by delivering best in class unsecured lending products and experiences that provide the best way to pay and borrow.
Our CCPL Assurance team is looking for a Business Assurance & Controls Management Expert to work with the CCPL Tribe to provide 1st line operational risk management support which covers the end-to-end management of ANZ’s credit cards and personal lending products. You will be working with an Assurance team and Tribe known for its great culture of collaboration, delivery, high performance and fun.
What will you bring?
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- You have experience in operational and/or compliance risk management and/or audit, proactively identifying and assessing risks, devising appropriate mitigants and controls and understand risk management frameworks.
- You have experience in understanding the risk impacts of product change initiatives and are able to balance risk decisions with commercial pragmatism in order to protect customers, stakeholders and the community.
- You have a desire to embed risk management in everyday activities, partnering with the business in delivering their own risk management accountabilities (e.g. Operational Risk Assessments, key controls, treatments) by uplifting overall risk capability via input, expertise, coaching and guidance.
- You have experience with CCPL Products, including an understanding of the end-to-end value chain (preferred, not required).
- You are willing to look at things differently, challenge the status quo, innovate and are comfortable with uncertainty.
- You are able to work autonomously and also part of a team, motivating others to deliver outcomes by providing advice, recommendations and thought leadership based on your expertise and experience.
- You have exceptional stakeholder management and relationship building skills, with the ability to influence outcomes at all levels of the business.
