We are the Cameron’s. We have two beautiful children, our daughter is nearly 3 and our son is 14 months. We have a groodle who loves a cuddle and enjoys sleeping all day on the couch. We live in Fairlight on the Northern Beaches Sydney. Our house is a 2 minute walk to Fairlight beach and roughly a 10 minute flat-ish walk to Manly wharf. We are a fun, relaxed family who loves being outdoors, going to the beach, spending time with friends and hanging out with our families.
Your Duties
Looking after 2 children with some light cooking, folding, dishwasher stacking and packing up after the kids in the common areas etc. We would like the caregiver to look after the kids on a Monday after daycare (around 3:30pm) until their bedtime (7pm). We would then like the caregiver to look after the kids on a Friday from 7:30am - 2pm (although they nap for 2 hours from midday). Finally, we would like the caregiver to do a half day (around 6 hours) at some point over the weekend. With our current nanny, we have worked this out on a rolling basis to accommodate her social calendar / commitments. This just gives mum and dad a bit of time together away from work.
Our Perfect Caregiver
We are looking for 15-18 hours a week in exchange for accommodation. You’ll have your own furnished studio apartment with bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and living area (located below our house) with private access. Includes couch, bed, smart TV, kitchen with fridge, stove and oven, microwave, kettle + toaster. We can provide photos upon request. We are looking for someone caring, thoughtful, good with children, patient, fun and generally enjoys the same outdoor, beach lifestyle that we love. Our current nanny (who we love, but unfortunately is moving back to the USA) typically split her time with our kids between our main house (which includes a playroom) and walking in to Manly to play at the park and go to the library.
