At Hear With Me , we have set out to provide a fresh approach to audiology care that values the person and their needs before anything else. We believe in providing warm, honest, comprehensive, and personalised audiology care to all our patients. Our first three years of helping people of all ages hear better has seen us receive over 100 positive Google Reviews.
We are looking a warm and friendly Audiology Receptionist (Administrative & Marketing Assistant) to join our team in Heidelberg (VIC) as we continue to push for greater success.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to each client, family member and enquirer from their first interaction with us to the minute they leave. You will help us achieve our aims of providing 10/10 experiences to all patients and referrers and aim to build long-term partnerships with them.
You will primarily be assisting the main audiologist, Dr Gerard William, and his team by leading our communications and by supporting our marketing and social media efforts. Our business will continue to grow in multiple ways and we want you to play a key role in shaping our journey ahead. This role is not for the faint hearted but could set you well on the path for future successes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide warm, friendly and efficient customer service to patients over the phone and in person.
Schedule appointments, manage patient records and take payments across different funding systems.
Design and manage our patient recall and retention system.
Respond to patient inquiries and address any concerns in a timely and professional manner and directing messages to the appropriate person.
Receive and distribute mail.
Basic hearing aid troubleshooting (training will be provided)
Support marketing and social media efforts by creating and assisting with recorded content or by designing and scheduling print or web content. (Don’t worry, Dr Gerard has a marketing background too).
Maintain a clean and organised office.
Occasional local travel and other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Exceptional people skills – able to provide a 10/10 service each and every time to patients and referrers.
Honest and trustworthy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Fast and accurate typing skills.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Able to handle uncertainty and resilient to setbacks.
Organised and able to organise those around you. (There will be more clinicians joining us).
Passion for providing meaningful assistance to hearing impaired patients and their families.
Interest in marketing and knowledge of media platforms
Experience with content creation
Available to work on-site during allocated hours between 8.30am and 5.00pm (as negotiated per hours)
Ambition and desire for growth in yourself and those around you.
Interest in taking on exciting projects in the background to advance your skillsets and career.
Willing to learn, open to feedback and able to ask for help. Humble enough to keep learning but bold enough to keep growing as a leader.
