About the Role – Aurion Systems Specialist,
Is responsible for the support and maintenance of the Aurion Payroll system including conducting regular system health checks. While contributing as an integral member of the People Services Team and supporting activities aligned with the strategic direction of and consistent with the mission and values of Churches of Christ.
- Coordinate the modification and alignment of the Aurion payroll system,
- Ensuring systems and processes are sustainable and aligned with the Churches of Christ’s framework.
- Participate in specific Aurion Payroll strategic projects including system upgrades.
- Maintain an up to date knowledge on end to end payroll processes;
- While ensuring the Aurion Payroll system is correctly configured for purpose.
- Ensure associated legislative and external reporting requirements are met.
Essential Requirements:
- Three years’ experience with Aurion Payroll system maintenance.
- Degree qualification in human resources, information technology systems or related field.
- Experience with human resource information systems.
- Knowledge of Aurion payroll system configuration in a medium to large organisation with varied employment/industrial arrangements.
About You
Have proven leadership skills with the capacity to deliver results, support the team/group business plans, while meeting objectives and financial targets, inspire and motivate teams, and work across organisational boundaries to achieve shared goals.
Demonstrated experience in Aurion system improvements and solutions to deliver business outcomes and deep understandings of the Aurion System.
- Well-developed problem solving, decision making and negotiation skills, and demonstrated ability to manage challenges of change and innovation.
- Proven ability and willingness to support a culture of safety, legislative compliance, quality and continuous improvement.
- Detailed knowledge of PAYE regulations, salary sacrifice and superannuation legislation.
Desired experience:
- Providing end user training in rostering and payroll systems.
- With UKG Time and Attendance experience.
- Working for a not-for-profit organisation.
- Possess a current National Police Certificate – or the ability to acquire.
- Advanced computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office products
