Epiroc Australia are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and organised Auto Electrician on a 7 days on/7 days off rotating day shift and night shift DIDO roster at our Boddington client site.
As an Auto Electrician, you will play an essential role in supporting our Boddington Gold Mine operations. This role will provide you with an opportunity to continue enhancing your Epiroc equipment skills, knowledge and experience whilst being able to work on a client site that has both workshop and surface mining exposure. Responsibilities of this role consists of but are not limited to the below:
- Understand and comply with Epiroc and Customer OH&S requirements, policies and procedures
- Perform electrical services, repairs and maintenance work on equipment
- Diagnose and fault find electrical problems
- Electrical rewiring and modifications as needed
- Support the maintenance team as required
- Work collaboratively with all team members and stakeholders
Ideally, you will possess the following experience and qualifications:
- Extensive auto electrical maintenance knowledge and experience, with a great track record of working in the mining industry
- Relevant Trade Auto Electrical qualification
- Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Epiroc product experience will be highly regarded
- An unrelenting safety focus
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving ability, diagnostic and trouble shooting skills
- Ability to handle and work under pressure
- The ability to work alone and in a team environment
