Form of work The Role
This role will see you perform Auto Electrician maintenance tasks both breakdown and servicing on light to heavy vehicle’s and fixed plant. Liaise with maintenance supervisor & assist reporting requirements & data entry within PRONTO.
The roster for this role is a 7/7 Day shift only roster with camp provided.
Key Responsibilities
Working on a range of light to heavy vehicles and fixed plant;
Repairs, Maintenance and diagnostic;
Auto electrical repairs and maintenance on UG mobile plant mining equipment;
Field and workshop-based work, in a team and autonomously;
Service and maintain mobile mining equipment air conditioning systems
Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation
Performing welding and fabrication repairs
Requisition parts from store and suppliers on behalf of Peak Gold Mine (PGM)
Correctly tagging with information tags damaged or repairable items for transport to repairers
Participate in daily shift information meetings and fill out daily plod ensuring all understand any risk or safety hazards associated
Ensure workshop procedures are adhered to and understood.
About you
Auto Electrical Trade Certificate
Auto electrical experience (Minimum 2 years as qualified tradesperson)
Wiring & Hand soldering experience
Proficient in PRONTO
Preventative and breakdown maintenance experience
Proven ability to troubleshoot and fault find complex electrical, mechanical and hydraulic problems
Current Drivers Licence
Ability to supervise and train apprentices
High standard of work quality
