About the role

The Job: 

Team Global Express have an exciting full-time permanent opportunity for recently qualified or experienced Auto Electricians at our Perth Airport Workshop. An exciting opportunity to work on all makes and models of trucks including rigid trucks, trailers, and prime movers!

With highly competitive over market hourly rate and benefits and you get to work with an amazing team. On top of that we are obsessed with safety and valuing our employees.

What you’ll do

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out installation and repair of electrical wiring, diagnosing problems with vehicle electrical systems, repairing damaged electrical parts.

• Maintaining electrical equipment effectively for a range of makes and models of Rigid, Prime Mover, Trailers and other transport and mobile equipment from the TGE Fleet.

What you’ll bring

Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of diagnostic tools for vehicle electrical and electronics.

• Proven work experience as an Auto Electrician or apprentice.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills.

• Ability to read electrical and electronic schematics and circuit diagrams.

• Ability to carry out/repair electrical wiring in a range of heavy vehicles.

• Ability to diagnose faults safely, competently, and efficiently in a timely manner.

• Ability to distinguish subtle color variations.

• Advanced knowledge of modern vehicular electrical systems.
