Aviation Inventory Officer

Airflite Pty Ltd is a leading Australian aviation company involved in performing civil and defence aircraft maintenance activities.

We have a current vacancy for a dynamic, energetic and lateral thinker to join our Jandakot Product Support team.

We are looking for a team player that has the ability to work independently, sometimes under pressure, problem solve and prioritise daily tasks to meet the deadlines required.

Ideally you will have extensive Microsoft Excel skills, Forklift ticket (desirable) and Dangerous Goods by Air (Acceptance) Ticket. 

Aviation spare parts experience preferred  but not essential as we will provide training to the right candidate. A good work attitude and the willingness to learn are key attributes to this role.

• Receiving of parts into the Stores inventory CASA  and FAA regulations
• Maintain store Iay-out and inventory locations to industry best practice.
• Source and Supply parts for internal and external customers.
• Picking parts requests for internal and external customers.
• Applying the highest level of Customer service and sales to external customers
• Management of shelf life limited parts 
• Process parts warranty and core returns, including aircraft/avionics program warranties
• Appropriately packing and organising all international and  domestic freight.
• Some purchasing of parts and stock to effect the best possible outcome (price and availability) - including consumable items
• Proactively updating the internal and external customers on backorders and parts in transit.
• Maintain operative Ievel supply chain relationships
• Receiving and processing removed unserviceable parts from the  engineering team for repair or scrap.

We are open to people with no aviation background but can demonstrate the skills and attitude required of the highly quality and compliance driven industry.

This position may also require you to provide temporary assistance in other company departments as and when the need arises, including providing excellent customer service and liaison to both internal and external stakeholders.
