B2 LAME/AME - Brisbane

Pel-Air Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Regional Express (Rex), Australia's largest independent regional airline. There is an excellent opportunity on offer for suitably qualified individuals to join the team as a full-time B2 Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, based in Brisbane, Queensland.
Position Responsibilities:
Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on Regional Express Group fleet (types Q400, B73, Saab 340), and components.
Ensure all maintenance and repairs are carried out to the highest standards.
Conduct maintenance activities within regulatory, and Company, rules of compliance.
Service tooling, and ground equipment.
Participate in aircraft recovery in remote settings.
Adhere to Company Policy and Procedures.
Communicate, and co-ordinate maintenance activities, with Maintenance Control/CAMO.
Liaise with Operations personnel.
Co-ordinate Logistics requirements.
Reporting to the Brisbane Line Maintenance Supervisor.
Essential Selection Criteria:
B2 Type rated license advantageous.
Ability to work a flexible 38-hour, 7-day roster.
A sound knowledge of aviation Quality Assurance (QA) principles.
Good working knowledge, and sound principles of WH&S practices.
Good working knowledge, and sound principles of Human Factors aspects.
Basic IT, and computer skills.
A valid state driver’s license.
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
Highly motivated, and enthusiastic attitude.
Sound work ethics.
Ability to work within a close team environment, and independently.
Professional presentation and conduct.
Meet the requirements to hold an Aviation Security Identity Card and Airside Driving Licence.
Preferred Selection Criteria:
B2 license with any of types; SAAB 340, Q400, or B737, highly desirable.
Non-licensed AME’s, currently in Diploma level training.
Experience on transport category aircraft.
Line maintenance operations experience.
Holding of other aircraft type ratings will be an added advantage.
