Clever Cubs Smithfield is a beautifully designed, brand new and purpose-built Early Learning Centre that is seeking an experienced and motivated Certificate 3 or Diploma to provide exceptional service to our children and families. About the role:
- Under the guidance of the Centre Manager, develop and apply an inclusive educational program based on the latest research involving observation, planning and implementing learning experiences to promote children's development
- Ensure each child’s current knowledge, ideas, culture, abilities and interests are the foundation of the program. The program, including routines, is organised in ways that maximise opportunities for each child’s learning.
- Ensure each child’s learning and development is assessed as part of an ongoing cycle of planning, documentation and evaluation.
- Encourage children’s ideas and use intentional teaching to scaffold and extend each child’s learning
- Ensure critical reflection on children’s learning and development, both as individuals and in groups, is regularly used to implement the program.
- Provide a high-quality service to meet the diverse needs of, children, families, educators, and owners within state and national legislative requirements.
About you:
- Certificate iii or higher
- Strong Knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Experience supporting and mentoring colleagues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
