Baker

Ability to be available to work a flexible roster, which will include shifts from 5 AM to 1:00PM.
This is a full-time position, offering approximately 38 hours per week.

Bakers Delight Allambie Heights is seeking motivated, enthusiastic and energetic Qualified Baker to join the Bakery.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation and production of quality bakery products to Bakers Delight as per BDH recipe
Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough.
Mixing, scaling and dividing dough as required.
kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry goods
Operating machines and tools to prepare bakery products.
Decorating cakes with glazes, icings, buttercream and edible toppings.
Maintaining a cleanliness of machines, tools and premises and abide by company policies and procedures in relation to WHS (Workplace Health and Safety) and Food Safety to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors.
Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking time

To be considered for this role you need to be able to meet the following selection criteria.
Ability to be available for work across the 7 days of the week, which may include evening work and some public holidays (starting times can be as early as 5am)
Work in a fast-paced team environment and communicate with customers and staff.
Portray a positive attitude
Train, develop and supervise apprentices and staff in the Bakery Department
Have an eye for detail

Applicants with Minimum of 2 years' experience or Certificate III in Baking, as a Baker will have advantage for this role.
