AddressA full time position in a busy small business bakery. We are interested in anyone regardless of qualification status. New apprentices through to qualified bakers, all are welcome. We would prefer candidates who are already residing in Australia, however.
Starting hours are 12am-8am. Pay and conditions are as per the General Retail Award, penalties included with the potential for pay increases for excellent performance. No experience necessary. No drivers license necessary, however reliable transport is essential as public transport, cabs and uber are not available at those hours.
Working for us as an apprentice, you will learn how to make everything from scratch. We don't use a lot of pre-mixes. You will learn how to make/decorate bread, pies, other pastries, danish, tarts, slices and cakes. With the skills we can teach you, you could walk into almost any bakery in Australia and find work easily, as there is a large skill shortage in the industry these days.
