We have an exciting opportunity to work alongside the Bar and Gaming Manager in our newly refurbished public bar. We need someone with a passion for Hospitality and an extensive background working in pubs, taverns and gaming venues.
Your day to day
We're looking for someone to help manage operations, ensuring quality product and service while delivering a guest experience that is unique. You will help ensure compliance with all government regulations concerning gaming, health, safety or other requirements. You'll be responsible for Gaming operations and day to day operations of the bar to live up to the highest standard of Hospitality service.
You will be responsible for running shifts in the absence of the Bar and Gaming Manager, ensuring that the team are focused on the guest experience. During your shifts, you will supervise the team, offering training and guidance, as well as providing guests with amazing service.
What we need from you
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a Gaming Operations Supervisory position.
- You must have Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Service of Gaming certificates. A Responsible Management of Licensed Venues certificate is desirable, but not essential
- Strong food and beverage product knowledge
- Exceptional communication and customer relations skills, as well as the ability to problem solve and adapt to the moment
- You will also bring the ability to lead employees from diverse cultures
