SPS is now looking to welcome an experienced Batcher in Charge to join their leadership team at Ningi near Bribie Island. This exciting opportunity will allow you to oversee the safe operations of their established Concrete Batch Plant and ensure optimal and efficient output to meet planned production schedules.
Key Duties:
- Overseeing the Batch Plant Operations and ensuring a work environment that complies with health & safety and environmental standards/regulations
- Promoting and enabling employee compliance with the company’s safety policies.
- Consulting with maintenance and transport supervisors to ensure to uphold company standards.
- Providing solutions to business operations through assessing the risks associated with the Plant, Agi Trucks, and delivery schedules.
- Direct supervision and management of the Agitator Driver Team.
- Running the daily pre-start meetings.
About You

- Qualifications in concrete production and processing (desirable).
- Prior experience as a Senior Batcher or Batcher in Charge.
- Understanding of advancements within the concrete production industry.
- Experience in implementing company policies and organising schedules.
- A proven ability to lead and influence within a collaborative environment amongst experienced employees, contractors, and other staff.
- Active relationship builder who is confident to communicate with members of the leadership team and listen to the concerns of junior employees.
