About this role:
We are currently looking for a dynamic Bid and Communications Manager to enhance our team. Reporting to the Head of Business Intelligence and Growth, this role is crucial for supporting the company's growth and elevating our brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
Bid Management
- Bid Preparation and Submission: Develop Bid and proposal responses. This involves close collaboration with key stakeholders to develop submissions that are both compelling and aligned with client needs, company values, and deadlines.
- Strategy Development: Formulate detailed bid strategies and winning themes in partnership with stakeholders.
- Content Creation: Work with subject matter experts to draft, review, and refine bid responses.
- Process Oversight: Oversee the bid process, from identifying opportunities to post-tender support, ensuring adherence to all guidelines and timelines.
- Documentation Management: Maintain and update the company’s Bid and award management hub and response library.
- Tender Monitoring: Track tender opportunities and obtain necessary documents.
- Awards Submissions: Manage the preparation and submission of entries for industry awards, promoting our people and organisation through industry events and associations.
- Submission Process Management: Handle the awards submission cycle, including identification, submission, and follow-up, while ensuring compliance with all requirements.
- Awards Pipeline Maintenance: Keep the company’s awards pipeline up-to-date and organised.
- Research Activities: Perform market research in collaboration with the marketing, innovation, and product development teams.
- Business Development Support: Assist in business development activities, aiding strategic plans and initiatives aimed at expanding the client base and strengthening market presence.
- In collaboration with wider stakeholders, draft white papers, articles and case studies.
- Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in bid management or corporate communication.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional focus on precision.
- Bid Writing and Editing: Proven background in crafting and refining bid responses.
- Time Management: Strong skills in managing time and juggling multiple priorities.
- Leadership: Ability to inspire and lead teams effectively.
- Communication: Expertise in presenting complex information clearly and adapting communication styles to various audiences.
