The Role
We are currently looking for an Underground Boilermaker to perform fabrication & maintenance tasks, both breakdown and preventative maintenance on underground mobile equipment.
This role is offered on a 7 days on and 7 days off roster, DIDO and residential options available.
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring own Health & Safety as well as that of all other workers, identifying and maintaining safe work practices and completing all required safety training
Assisting with daily and weekly servicing and inspections on mobile equipment. Repair and maintain G.E.T. systems and bucket wear parts
Supporting Supervision team to complete daily tasks and maintain daily and monthly KPIs
Undertaking accurate recording and data entry within Pronto and closing out work orders or any other software as required
Coordinating and organising contract work teams during rebuilds or urgent breakdowns
Monitor and maintain mobile equipment maintenance costs
Liaising with supervision in hazard awareness and risk management
Maintain housekeeping of workshop and work areas and ensure accountability for Aurelia tooling and equipment.
About you
Current and unencumbered ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
Boilermaker/Metal fabricator trade qualifications
Preferably 3 years post trade experience, in underground mobile maintenance or similar
Experience in underground mobile plant maintenance, Cat or Epiroc haul trucks (AD55/MT65 etc.), Cat R2900 loader, Epiroc and/or Sandvik drills, Normet shotcreter and agitators, charge rigs or similar heavy equipment
CMMS experience, preferably Pronto and good computer system knowledge of Microsoft word and excel.
