We’re looking for a full time Bookkeeper to join our WA team.
A day in the life
Leveraging your natural organisational skills, you’ll be responsible for a diverse range of administrative and bookkeeping activities that enable our corporate services team to support our state-based offices across Australia to provide quality training.
Your attention to detail, ability to prioritise your work and strong work ethic will be key in diligently and accurately following up with all tasks given. This goes hand in hand with having patience, maturity and a considerate nature that will allow you to help our staff with enquiries over the phone and in person.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to work as a crucial part of the corporate team in our head office located in Perth.
The purpose of this role is to provide corporate administrative support to our teams around Australia, including:
Under direction, the planning, sourcing, negotiating and purchases of office supplies, IT equipment, laboratory supplies and training supplies that are essential for the company’s day-to-day operations.
Maintain office equipment register
Administering finance functions of VETtrak Student Management System.
Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function
Support the Payroll function
Providing general clerical and administrative support, including developing and producing reports for internal and external clients.
Must-haves
Relevant qualification ie. Cert IV in Bookkeeping
Ability to prioritise and manage timeframe and deadlines
Be willing to learn and do different tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Be an Excel champion (desirable)
Previous exposure to XERO (desirable)
IT troubleshooting skills (desirable)
Experience in VETtrak Student Management System (desirable)
High level of computer literacy, accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
