This dynamic three-partner accounting firm has an extremely strong brand and amazing reputation with a broad and loyal client base. Due to some internal restructuring and an expanding client list, an opportunity has arisen for a Bookkeeper to join this high performing Business Services team. You will be working for an experienced Partner with a great management style who is fun, approachable, nurturing and supportive.
The Position:
As the more experienced Bookkeeper in the team, you will become the first point of contact with many key clients. You will be responding to their queries and supporting them with your exceptional customer service skills. You will be nurturing relationships, providing exceptional customer service and you will effectively become a key ambassador for your employer. Your role will include:
- General bookkeeping journal postings
- Balance Sheet, GL bank reconciliations,
- Maintain balance sheets and P&Ls
- Client management and queries
- Help identify accounting issues
- BAS - preparing and/or lodging
- Undertaking payroll
For this role, experience in bookkeeping for small to medium-sized organisations is imperative. In addition, you should have:
- Xero and MYOB experience and all related tax software
- Strong bookkeeping knowledge
- Able to nurture and build good relationships
- Proactive and effective at problem-solving
- Able to adapt in any environment and attend to customer queries
- Fun, dynamic team
- Variety of clients across multiple industries
- Social activities, bonus incentives and team cohesion
