PARISI is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Officer who loves to keep busy, the role requires a self-driven individual who has an eye for details, able to use their initiative and has the willingness to learn. The successful candidate is someone who will thrive on a collaborative and fast paced environment across multiple businesses and entities in Silverwater.
About the role
Your duties will include (but not limited to)
- Accounts payable and receivable
- General ledger reconciliations
- Liaising with key stakeholders
- Processing reimbursement requests
- Preparation of batch / EFT payments
- Weekly and monthly reporting
- Budget forecasting
- Administration duties
- Maintaining supplier accounts and reconciliation of supplier statements
- Maintaining customer accounts and reconciliation of customer statements
- Check bank account position daily
- Manage cash flow and allocate funds
- Manage BAS, and tax obligations and month/year end processing.
- Manage Property & Trust Accounts
- EOM requirements
- Data entry
- Filing and
- Other administrative and ad hoc tasks as they arise
Skills and experience
To be considered for the role, key requirements include:
- Significant experience in a similar role;
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Accurate completion of high-volume data entry work;
- Computer/system aptitude;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Teamwork orientation;
- Effective communication skills;
- An innovative diligent approach to work;
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel and other financial accounting packages
- Book keeping and payroll experience
- Up to date knowledge of new accounting standards

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $43,729.80 – $88,218.98 per year
