About this opportunity
Reporting into the Senior Manager, Social & Content, the role of the Brand Designer is to articulate our brand through visual media. Specifically, they will support internal and external marketing and communication activities by creating designs for use in digital and print media. They will design, develop and maintain all forms of graphic media including developing offline and online creative solutions, maintaining an accessible/sustainable content library, providing professional design consultancy and advice on projects and implementing processes and templates to create efficiencies. They will act as a brand ambassador, ensuring graphic media accurately and effectively conveys the Aware Super brand promise and guidelines.
How do you exceed our expectations?
The suitable candidate for this role will be an experienced Graphic Designer with technical skills and a passion for quality. Additionally they will have the following:
At least five years' experience in graphic design with the ability to successfully interpret and respond to customer requirements by designing appropriate solutions, develop/produce graphic designs to print stage and create/maintain appropriate templates and resources to facilitate a speedy design process;
The ability to understand customer requirements and create effective media (both digital and print) that supports the brand promise and is consistent with brand guidelines;
Technical skills such as design principles, techniques and standards, online design for both email and web, and proficiency in HTML, Dreamweaver, InDesign and Photoshop with a focus on online design;
Excellent stakeholder communication and relationship management skills; and
The ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels.
