Join an Australian-owned licensing company as their new Brand Manager! Our client started in the industry over 20 years ago, and now has a diverse range of hard goods, apparel and accessories across 50+ licenses.
This role will lead the entire product development cycle from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations across various brands, including product specifications and royalties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate for and manage the brand and product portfolio to fulfill contract requirements.
- Conduct sales analysis and develop brand forecasts.
- Perform distribution analysis and create annual marketing and brand strategies.
- Execute market research and analysis, and plan and manage product launches.
- Prepare and deliver reports and presentations, including retail pitch decks and marketing updates for brand stakeholders.
- Assist in creating retail planograms for presentations.
- Handle AP21 tasks, including product setup, pricing, and managing purchase and production orders.
- Maintain website content, ensuring consistency in product images and descriptions.
- Attach and manage product specifications, shipping marks, and retailer-specific information in purchase orders, liaising with procurement.
- Develop creative briefs and prioritise creative tasks.
- Coordinate with a wide range of stakeholders, including licensors, agencies, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Manage direct reports, ensuring their continuous development and support.
- Qualification in Marketing, Merchandising or Business.
- Experience in commercial development of hard goods, apparel, homewares, or gifting categories.
- 3-5 years of experience in similar roles- sales experience is an advantage.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong people management skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Persuasive with strong negotiation skills.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Proficient in using PC software, including Apparel 21, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Self-starter capable of working independently.
