A bit about the role
In this role, you will focus primarily on ensuring Wyndham City is assisting swimming pool and spa owners to meet the requirements set out in the Building Regulations 2018. You will be facilitating the implementation and ongoing operations of swimming pool and spa registrations, inspections and enforcement.
There will be plenty of other building inspection work to give you variety and to keep things interesting for you. This role will see you working within a close knit and supportive team with a common purpose to keep Wyndham’s built environment safe and healthy for everyone.
What you’ll deliver
Excellent customer service for inquiries regarding swimming pools, spas and other building inspections
Efficient and effective onsite building inspections
Reporting on swimming pool, spa and other building inspections
Work with the compliance and enforcement teams to ensure safety of structures in our community
What you’ll bring
Registration as an Unlimited or Limited Building Inspector
Demonstrated knowledge of the Building Act, Building Regulations and Australian Standards including current and superseded versions of AS1926.1
Working ability to read architectural and engineering drawings
A positive, curious and flexible attitude
