ABOUT THE ROLE:
Due to our strong and continued growth, Campbell Construction Co is now seeking an experienced and self motivated Insurance Repair Supervisor/Estimator to join our team in the Gladstone region.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of multiple domestic insurance jobs at any one time.
Our Insurance Repair Supervisors are required to possess a high level of skill in trade and building management, administrative report writing and customer service skills. The successful candidate will be working closely with our clients, customers, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure a positive and high quality repair on every job.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attend site, prepare and provide an accurate estimate to reinstate works, for both minor and major building losses;
- Communicating clearly and regularly with staff, clients, insurance companies, and sub-contractors, both written and verbal
- Preparation of reports and quotes on allocated jobs
- Complete assessments and scopes of insurance damage
- Programming and co-ordination of sub contractors and suppliers to conduct a high quality repair
- Meet KPI’s as set by our clients
- Ensure estimated work conforms to legislative and OH&S criteria;
- Maintain good records on a computer-based work system – Prime Ecosystem and various Insurance Platforms
Please note, due to the nature of insurance repair work, travel to other areas may occasionally be required during major weather events.
ABOUT YOU:
As the successful candidate, you will need the following:
- A current QBCC Site Supervisor Licence (minimum Low Rise)
- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor
- Advanced Computer Skills & Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Experience in Estimating, Scheduling and Supervising trades and repairs (insurance-related is preferred)
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment
- Organisational and time management skills
- Positive and confident attitude with high focus on customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive building and carpentry knowledge
- Willingness to adopt current systems and actively participate in the continual growth of the business
