We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Digital Commerce Solutions team, playing a strategic and critical role in developing and implementing state-of-the-art digital products for the North American market. You will also work as a liaison among different stakeholders to understand their viewpoint, to ensure close alignment among stakeholders and the vision set by the Digital Product Manager.
At Digital Commerce Solutions we are responsible for the digital products that support the online Order-to-Delivery (OtD) customer journey. Our teams deliver digital products including Configurator, Available cars, and Pre-owned Storefronts, Fleet Order Management, Financial Services Integration, Checkout, Payment Handling, Order and Delivery Management, and Partner Remarketing Tools for Order and Inventory Management.
In addition, this role provides context around market, competitive intelligence and customer needs and pain points, to help the team define the work at hand. As such, you will play an important role in ensuring the team is aligned, especially across competence areas.
What you’ll do
- Provide technical business analysis support to Polestar North America digital team, contributing to all phases of product and project lifecycles.
- Work closely with Polestar teams cross-functionally to document requirements, workflow charts and system diagrams; studying system capabilities and writing specifications
- Responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical, and understandable way in coordination with the digital team.
- Support your team with executing the Digital strategy, providing fact-based analysis of the business/digital environment for the specific digital product, service, or platform, utilizing information gathered from a variety of resources and channels.
- Identify process gaps and improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications.
- Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Partner with the Product Manager in feature creation and acceptance criteria, communicate trade-offs effectively with various competence groups (Service Designers, UX/UI Designers, Engineers, etc.)
- Collaborate on joint development projects with Polestar digital teams in Europe
Who you are
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience working in Digital or IT related projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, information systems, computer science or related degree.
- Experience in various software platforms including SaaS, Custom software development and out of the box software products.
- Must possess technical knowledge around product architecture, application integration and API connectivity.
- Experience documenting business and software requirements with multiple methodologies and tools; understanding of best practice in UI/UX design.
- Software development experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to set expectations, manage deadlines and hold individuals and teams accountable for meeting critical milestones.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Solid knowledge of SDLC (Waterfall and Agile) development methodologies.
- Passion to challenge the status quo, find new solutions and drive out of the box ideas – loves and embraces change.
- Experience working with international teams is plus
