Our client is looking for a Business Analyst who can design and implement business process flows under a new ERP over the next 12–24-month fixed term duration. The Role:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding how our current system and processes work to document a pathway to successfully implement a new ERP system within the business nationally.
The role will work under guidance from the ERP Program Director to design and implement the program of works as required. Work generates according to the planned and agreed overall project plan.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Understand and document the current processes within the Transport Management System ('TMS') including identifying nuisances from different depots and escalating the decision of wither or not consistency is achievable or desirable.
- Assess current TMS process to identify vulnerabilities, inefficiencies and gaps
- Develop a deep understanding of the new ERP so that new TMS requirements can be captured, documented and able to be implemented in all environments
- Attend and participate in discovery workshops, challenging thinking and document findings
- In conjunction with key stakeholders, such as the Change Manager and Training Manager, document the new TMS process in a way that can be understood by all and adapted into all depots and transport activities
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years' experience within IT / Systems change management, preferably in a transport / logistics / blue collar industry
- Experience with multi-site collaboration
- Tertiary qualification related to Business Analytics (desirable)
- Be a driving force to develop and implement processes to improve business efficiencies
- Demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders of all levels to identify improvement opportunities
- Advanced computer literacy
- Highly motivated to achieve set goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
