Our client is a large Queensland Government Department which has a common purpose of creating better health care for Queenslanders. They are seeking a Principal Business Analyst for an initial 6-month contract to work within the Corporate Enterprise Solutions business unit, reporting to the Manager, Business Solution Design and Change.
About the Role:
As Principal Business Analyst you will lead and consult with representatives across the state in the identification, analysis and documentation of business processes and requirements related to the development, configuration and implementation of our client's business, and logistics solution (S/4HANA) to meet the needs of all stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business requirements to provide input into existing and new solution functionality
- Develop high quality documentation for all stakeholder groups.
- Lead the analysis of business, user and system requirements and provide advice on the application of the integrated workforce management solutions
- Conduct and supervise the analysis of existing business processes, and future business processes
- Oversee the research and undertake process reengineering including identifying variations to policy and procedural matters
- Provide advice with the development and implementation of project and release management plans that link with Department and branch outcomes.
- Provide specialist strategic and operational advice on business and solution processes, using experience and knowledge of the business to influence strategic directions.
Skills and experience:
- You will previous experience with the SAP S/4HANA finance, business and logistics solution as a Business Analyst
- Proven experience in business engagement, including requirements elicitation and facilitating workshops
- You will have expertise to identify key issues, perform research and analysis and develop and document solutions.
- You will have experience in heavily regulated industries ideally Health
- Knowledge of Finance and Logistics business processes will be advantageous.
This is a contract role for an initial 6 months with probable extensions and hybrid working conditions. You will be working as part of a team with 10 other Business Analyst’s and a couple of Solutions Architects. You will be working on a range of projects all geared to improving procurement and finance systems processes.
