Your New Role
We have an opportunity to support a multi-year program to the Australian Defence Force.
- Define user problems, needs, and/or enhancements.
- Utilise user stories and use cases to capture requirements.
- Capture and model current and planned HQJOC business processes.
- Conduct user liaison and support for development activities including software development.
- Participate in agile sprints, providing user representation during testing.
- Support the test team develop test procedures and conduct verification activities
- Support Change Management activities and the transition of solutions into production and operational use.
- Develop plans, procedures, work instructions, manuals and other technical documentation for use by personnel
- Liaise with the Service Desk team through delivery and escalation processes.
- Plan, monitor and report on progress of activities within your assigned work packages
Qualifications
About You and What You'll Bring
- Requires expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a related discipline, and/or equivalent experience/combined education
- 3-5 years of professional experience in Defence or similar industry preferred
- Strong Business Process Mapping Experience and Understanding
- Strong presentation, engagement and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Work with a high level of autonomy, with a capacity to support other members of the team
- Experience with VISIO and Holocentric (Desirable)
Please note the successful candidate will be an Australian Citizen with an NV2 or higher Security Clearance.
