The Division provides a range of enabling services and operations delivery to the department and to Australian businesses. CIO Group are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Analyst/Tester to assist with technical support, ongoing service operational support and service enhancement activities.

The Product Delivery Services section is responsible for the development and support of systems and product for the Departments and Government as a whole. To be successful in this role you should have experience as a Business Analyst and with testing different applications and websites.

What you will do

Responsibilities include:

• Working and contributing to a multi-disciplinary team
• Ability to document user stories and business requirements
• Proven stakeholder management experience working with business areas to achieve outcomes.
• Testing applications and websites across different browsers and multiple devices
• Using Azure DevOps to create PBI’s and track tasks/testing
• Review issues, bug reports and work with business owners and developers to correctly assign and prioritise work.
• Create/review analysis artefacts and supporting documentation

Eligibility

To be eligible for employment in the APS and the department, candidates must be Australian Citizens.

Positions require a Baseline security clearance and successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.

A merit pool may be established and used to fill future vacancies within 18 months from the date the vacancy was first advertised in the Gazette.
