Jones Automation Control is a well established family owned business in the Building Services, Food Manufacturing, Cold Logistics and Warehousing Industries, specialising in Automated Access & Loading systems.
We supply, install and service building access automation systems to late industrial and commercial buildings.
As our Business Development Manager your role will involve:
- Develop Quotes for repairs and installation of Automated Industrial Access and Loading Equipment (e.g. High Speed Doors, Automatic Doors, Roller Shutters & Doors, Dock levellers & Dock Shelters, Wheel Restraints, Sliding & Boom gates, PVC Swing Doors and Strip Curtains).
- Assist in sourcing of parts for Installation and Repairs of Industrial Access equipment. Maintain Quote Register.
- Follow up Quotes for repair and installations
- Liaise and coordinate with Suppliers, Clients and prospective Clients
- Assist in acquisition and set-up of new Programmed Maintenance Clients and Contracts
- Monitor Tendering websites for new business opportunities and prepare submissions.
- Maintain and update Client Asset Registers
- Conduct Site Inspections and Measure-ups for Jobs
- Maintain and update supplier products lists and pricing
- Monitor Job Schedule to ensure Jobs are Closed off daily
- Liaise with Technicians to ensure all Jobs are completed correctly with complete Job information
- Assist Managing Director with scheduling of Jobs
You will need to be exceptionally well organised, with strong attention to detail, great people skills and strong follow through on all daily tasks. You’ll have a sense of humour and a warm customer focused personality and the ability to effectively manage all aspects of our administrative tasks.
Facilities Management and or Maintenance background, Parts Ordering, Sourcing and Purchasing Experience is essential.
You will need at least 5 Years industry experience, with strong Microsoft skills, good maths and english.
Experience with Accounts Payable & Receivable in Xero would be an advantage.
