About the Role
RPMGlobal is currently seeking an experienced person in business development to provide comprehensive business development, client management, proposal development and sales administration support to RPM’s growing Advisory business.
The role will be responsible for a wide range of business development activities with a strong focus on client follow-up and business development support including the preparation of proposals and bids. The role requires a computer savvy all-rounder with expert Microsoft Office Suite skills.
The role is full-time, based out of either of our East Coast Australian operations in Sydney or Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities
Provide reliable customer service experience by consistently managing client expectations.
Co-ordinating and formatting both standard and complex proposals, tender responses and technical reports.
Work with the RPM consulting team in the creation and delivery of proposals for Clients.
Attend Client meetings with RPM consultants or management to understand Client needs.
Effectively utilize CRM to manage customer contacts, opportunities, and leads.
Leveraging customer relationship management tools to manage the entire sales cycle, prioritize activities, and provide accurate forecasting information (I.e. CRM tools, Salesforce,etc).
Liaising with RPM partners and associates arranging work orders and sub-consultancy agreements.Work with the subject matter experts to produce experience, capability and other technical sales documentation.
Supporting the marketing plans and activities with event assistance and other document formatting, PowerPoint and content development.
Formatting of reports from time to time as required.
General Sales Administration and Project Controls support.
About You
You are an all rounder with demonstrated experience in supporting the business development and sales process or business development experience.
Enjoy working as part of a fun professional team with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated prior experience with CRM e.g. Salesforce, and preferably an ERP such as SAP.
Sales support and Administration experience including an ability to develop proposal content from a client brief or scope.
Expert user of the Microsoft Word and at least a demonstratable standard level of Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience working in or alongside the mining industry would be well regarded but not essential.
Tertiary qualification preferred.
Must be legally entitled to work in Australia.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Customer service focus and attention to detail required.
