Primary objective
The primary objective of the Business Development & Relationship Manager is to develop and grow bilateral relationships in the prestige dealership, prestige repairers, regular repairers, towing operators, fleet operators, insurance companies and insurance broker space. The role will focus on developing, promoting and securing new business partners, deployment of new demurrage and prestige vehicle replacement programs, maintaining relationships with key business providers and maximising the scope, quality and volume of business.
Qualifications, skills & experience
- Motor Vehicle Hire knowledge/experience is desirable.
- Knowledge/Experience of credit hire (accident replacement vehicles) industry is desirable.
- Knowledge of the car insurance and repair industry is desirable.
- Experience in motor vehicle sales, repairer networking, parts sales, finance or insurance is desirable
- A valid driver's license - necessary
- A proven track record in sales and B2B development
- Exceptional organisational, communication, sales and and time management
- Ability to work autonomously on the road and in office
- Ability to make prompt, correct decisions
- Work effectively within a team environment and with the highest integrity
- A natural negotiator, who can negotiate with other business owners without compromising the business position.
- Well dressed and presented, with business attire compulsory
Tasks & responsibilities
- Develop, grow and maintain business relationships with smash repairers, insurance brokers, car dealers, fleet companies and tow truck companies.
- Monthly reporting to the director - analysing trends and follow up opportunities.
- exploring business opportunities that have yet to be tapped into with the director and national sales manager.
- Visiting partner clients to establish and maintain strong working relationships. Focusing on quality partners over quantity.
- Training external clients/partners of our cloud software
- Provide exceptional levels of service to our partners.
- Liaise with claims, recovery and logistics staff to achieve collaborative outcomes
