Our catering division Total Catering Solutions (TCS) is one of the leading Cook – Chill / Cook Freeze and Extended shelf-life food manufacturers in Perth, Western Australia.
Located in a Bassendean in a purpose-built facility, TCS utilises modern high tech production equipment and the latest technology in computer systems and software packages specifically designed for the food manufacturing industry.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The primary responsibility for the Business Development Manager is responsible for B2B sales for Total Catering Solutions and account management of existing accounts.
This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract role | Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm.
Key responsibilities
Developing growth strategies and plans
Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
Increasing client base
Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
Writing business proposals
Negotiating with stakeholders
Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
Researching business opportunities and viable income streams
Following industry trends locally and interstate
Drafting and reviewing contracts
Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Solid understanding of sales and account management
Exposure to food manufacturing sales in WA (desirable)
Knowledge of food safety requirements
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
High level of customer service orientation
Evidence of COVID-19 and 2022 Flu vaccinations
Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
Successful completion of pre-medical form and reference checks
Previous experience (2yrs+) working in hospitality roles within aged care
Experienced working with cleaning equipment, cleaning schedules and chemicals
C-class driver’s license
Basic computer skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of aged care industry standards and guidelines (desirable)
Degree qualified in related field (desirable)
