Business Development Manager

My client is a premium building products company specializing in high-end design solutions for architects, interior designers, and builders. Their products are used in luxury residential and commercial projects around the world. We are seeking a Business Development Manager who is passionate about design, collaborative and experienced with end to end sales to join the team in Perth.
Responsibilities:
Cultivate relationships with architects, interior designers, and builders to understand their needs and provide tailored design solutions for their commercial projects
Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capture them
Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive landscape
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects
Attend industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and network with potential clients
Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management
Requirements for the Role:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Design, or related field highly advantageous
Proven track record in sales within the luxury building products industry eg Soft Furnishings, Furniture, Coatings, Lighting
Strong understanding of design principles and a passion for design
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel as required
