Carbiz offer the best end-to-end accident management service to our customers who have been involved in a motor vehicle accident for which they were not at fault. We are a fast-growing tech company who distribute accident replacement vehicles to clients across Australia to ensure that our customers get back on the road as quickly as possible.
As the Business Development Manager you are tasked with developing and diversifying business so that income increases, and the future and growth of the organisation are guaranteed.
You are required to be ambitious and energetic to help us expand our clientele, as well as be the face of the company demonstrating a dedication to creating and applying an effective sales strategy.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
Roles
Own and execute all new business activities, including researching companies/ individuals and finding new opportunities
Well-presented and professional appearance at all times, with the ability to adjust your approach, based on the clients need
Developing growth strategies and plans with high level business acumen and understanding of successful business development principles
Increasing client base by contacting potential clients, arranging meetings and
Engage with other parts of the business to learn and provide your potential customers with additional knowledge
Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs, including reporting on successes and areas needing improvement
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events when required.
Developing goals around business growth for the team and ensuring they are met.
Training and supervising the team whilst helping team members develop their skills and meet their goals.
Engage with other parts of the business to grow and develop own knowledge and skills
Able to provide objective, insightful and innovative perspectives
Contribute to a team environment through collaboration, innovative approaches to sales and the sharing of ideas and experiences
Requirements
Relevant industry experience, or minimum 2 years experience in a similar sales role, or, a Sales support, Sales Administration or Sales Coordinator role
Aspirational, driven leader who is able to build and maintain strong relationships quickly
An organised, fast learner with excellent negotiation skills and a high level of business acumen
Ability to work both autonomously and in a dynamic, growing team
Strong new business acumen and with a proven ability to manage the complete sales cycles and a deep understanding of successful business development principles
Excellent presentation and bonding, and rapport skills for 1:1 meetings as well as phone calls
Problem-solver - ability to field questions and think on your feet
Passionate about the customer experience and overall satisfaction
Ability to adapt well to change and willingness to be a part of fast growing company
