Job Role and Summary
Supported by the Chief Operating Officer, you will play an integral role in developing and cultivating relationships with internal and external stakeholders, bringing in new business and providing both strategic and operational expertise to the Senior management team. You will be responsible for growing and developing new SIL services to deliver outstanding client service and achieve sustainable growth targets in a competitive market. This is a highly dedicated and focused role that will support the growth of our services across all the NDIS offerings.

In addition, you’ll be motivated by the opportunity to apply your entrepreneurial mind to drive new business, whilst carrying the utmost respect, empathy, and a passion for Aged Care and disabled clients.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the growth and management of existing and potential clients
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Monitor data, trends and information from service delivery and initiate ideas and suggestions for performance improvement projects
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with client and their representatives, internal and external stake holders, key personnel within the NDIS and other government agencies
- Keeps abreast of changes and developments within the disability service provision ensuring best practice is reflected across all areas of service activity
- Plan your own work schedule as you see fit
- Proactive engagement with regular functions and processes and attendance at NDIS/ plan management related events and information sessions. Attending networking events, conferences etc.
Required Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualifications, ideally in the health or medical field
- 2 to 3 years’ Management experience working in NDIS in Australia
- Demonstrated business acumen and experience in scaling segment of a business in line with a strategic plan in a competitive environment.
- Established network within the disabilities industry and related agencies
- A sound understanding of service delivery in the disability sector, legislative requirements, and the key issues involved in operating as an NDIS service provider is essential
- In-depth knowledge and experience of NDIS compliance with the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission Framework and Practice Standards is necessary.
- Knowledge of legislation and regulation covering delivery of disability services for the state
- Knowledge of quality and compliance requirements across all services
- Highly developed organization, time management skills exceptional written and verbal communication skills to confidently lead a team
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Current drivers license,
- Working with children check
- NDIS Worker Screening check.
