How will I help?
Westpac Commercial Banking supports Australian industry through a network of professional bankers, specialists and support teams, and we’re committed to offering deep industry expertise to our commercial customers. To achieve this, we have a dedicated Industry Specialisation team comprising of expert bankers across critical sectors, and we’re looking for a someone great to join our Healthcare team.
As a Business Development Manager in this space, you’ll play a critical role in generating new business for Westpac across the Healthcare space. As a Business Development Manager, you’ll network and build relationships with external partners, attracting customers from preferred broker flows or competitors. You’ll be an advocate for our outstanding service promise with the aim of creating better futures together.

What do I need?
We’re looking for a seasoned banker with significant experience in commercial lending ideally across healthcare. Strong credit skills (including cashflow lending) are highly regarded, and you’ll be comfortable with complex deal structuring. You will also be supported by a team of analysts and portfolio mangers. A natural people-person, you’ll boast an impressive track record in business development, including the acquisition of new to bank customers and a well-established network of referral sources and brokers. The expectation is that you are also comfortable originating home lending needs also from this client base.
