About The Client
The Client is the largest broker of trade credit insurance in Australia with a national footprint and branches extending to the Asia Pacific region. For over 35 years, they have been providing trade credit solutions to businesses across various industries and are backed by an ASX top 100 company.
Off the back of sustained growth, they are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join the company in a newly created role. They invest heavily into their staff from a training and development perspective and it shows with a third of their company having a tenure of 10+ years.
About The Role
Identifying and developing new business through networking, relationship building, and cold calling, as well as cross-selling our range of products
Delivering results against set targets and achieving sales goals
Providing exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships with clients
Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and regulations
Participating in sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events

$100K Base + Super + Car + $50K Comms

About You
A proven track record of establishing new business through cold calling, networking, and relationship building
A passion for sales, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a disciplined approach to achieving results
Experience in banking, real estate, door to door sales, or finance would be an advantage but not essential
A self-motivated and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
