We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic business development representative (BDR) to help us grow our customer base and revenue.
As a BDR, you will be responsible for:
- Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Contacting potential clients through cold calls and emails
- Presenting our company and solutions to potential clients
- Setting up meetings or calls between prospective clients and account executives
- Reporting to the business development manager on sales results
- Creating leads from various sources, such as online directories, social media, events, etc.
- Creating and executing lead generation campaigns using email marketing, webinars, landing pages, etc.
- Driving leads through the marketing funnel and nurturing them until they are ready to buy
- Collaborating with the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies and goals
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven work experience as a business development representative, sales representative, or similar role with an accumulative of 5 years or more work experience in Business Development, Sales, and Marketing roles.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office
- Knowledge of lead generation techniques and best practices
- Basic knowledge of the IT industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree in business, marketing or a related field is preferred but not required
- Experience with email marketing tools, such as Marketo.
- Knowledge of the IT industry and familiarity with our key partners' product and solution offerings is a Plus.
