Overview:
Are you looking to jump-start your sales career? Come join Dragos! Our sales team is hiring a Business Development Representative to follow up on inbound leads, prospect potential customer accounts, and build a pipeline for account managers.
Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated and outcome-driven. Excellent prioritization, organization, and focus are essential in this role. You’ll work with inside sales representatives and account managers to identify target accounts and craft outbound campaigns to increase awareness and interest in Dragos.
You will be highly effective at building rapport with a variety of decision-makers over the phone. You will relentlessly work toward understanding the needs, pain points, and desired outcomes of our prospects and customers. You must be technically proficient and able to communicate the value of Dragos to both technical and business leaders. You’ll be the type of person who thrives in an early-stage environment.
This role offers a fully remote work environment to candidates living anywhere in Australia. Melbourne-based candidates will have the option to work from the office.
Responsibilities:
Set meetings with organizations within our targeted verticals and personas via integrated marketing campaigns, marketing activities, and traditional outbound phone calls
Respond to and qualify inbound leads to fill account manager pipelines
Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads to increase interest in Dragos
Achieve monthly & quarterly quotas of quality meetings and sourced opportunities
Maintain Salesforce as the system of record
Daily cold calling and emailing to target accounts
Qualifications:
1+ year of sales experience calling on corporations throughout Australia
High acumen for and desire to learn
Quick learner, very quantitative, highly inquisitive
Very comfortable being on the phone
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable using Salesforce to organize and maximize prospecting efforts into target accounts
Goal-oriented with the desire to win
Highly organized and strong time management skills
Highly motivated, tenacious self-starter
Compensation:
Salary: AUD 112,000 OTE
Compensation: Salary + Equity + Benefits + Superannuation
Equity is communicated in USD, and to minimize confusion, this will be discussed on the first call with the Dragos recruiter. Employees receive equity options that start vesting on their first day and will have an opportunity to earn additional equity
