Your new role
Based in Townsville this role will see you focused on managing relationships and generating hire sales across the region. Partnering with customers you will help provide solutions to customer requirements and enquiries. With a diverse customer portfolio, you will work on big and small hire projects. Other key responsibilities will include:
Actively engage with new and existing clients to generate sales through the development of trusting relationships and ongoing contact
Identify new opportunities through the use of lead generation tools, data bases and marketing
Work closely with the local team to ensure fleet capacity and timing, pricing and customer requirements are realistically offered and met within committed time frames
Accurate reporting, database management and internal commitments
About you:
Renowned for your customer focus and first-class relationship building skills you will be able to build rapport and credibility with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure great outcomes for all. We are looking to hear from people with:
Proven experience in a Business Development role
Experience in Construction, Industrial or similar environments (preferred)
The demonstrated ability to maintain strong relationships over time
A high attention to detail and accurate reporting
