The client is seeking a Business Improvement Analyst with experience in implementing agile frameworks in a traditional IT company using waterfall methodology. The role will require knowledge of various agile principals and related ways of working frameworks. Supporting Implementation Lead in introducing platform ways of working to improve the delivery and culture for the establishment and development of the ERP Platform Team. ERP Platform Team has the end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of projects, minor enhancements, service requests, support and maintenance for the SAP solutions. The SAP project delivery teams and the SAP functional / technical support teams in ICT Operations will function as a single entity as the ERP Platform Team. These teams are comprised of multiple sub-teams of approximately 30 employees and contractors, and the teams from a recently transitioned managed service provider.
This is a newly created role to support transition to platform ways of working and this role will work with report to ERP platform manager to help design, document and implement platform ways of working in the platform team.
Key responsibilities- Organise design workshops and document/develop to-be platform structure in consultation with Implementation team
- Must have experience in Process modelling (BPMN) and Gap Analysis
- Work with team to articulate user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience in facilitating Discovery / Inception workshops
- Provide high-quality analytical solutions for the key stakeholders
- Strong communication skills and a passion for continuous improvement
- Identify which business processes need to be revised, created, or removed
- Experience with technical language of within the Agile Teams when communicating with Developers and testers
- Minimum 3 years of direct work experience in Business Analysis
- Strong Process mapping skills
- Over 3 years’ experience working in software development environments
- A strong understanding of Agile, its behaviours, tools, and techniques
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced and changing environment and pivot quickly to adapt to changing circumstances
- Strong facilitating skills, presentation skills
- Experience in successfully engaging with vendors and working collaboratively with key client stakeholders/representatives and internal ICT support and operational personnel
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on motivating the team
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Experience working in the project ideation and discovery phase
- Experience in working with virtual (and shared) team of resources
- Highly developed written skills (documentation, communications, and presentations)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
- Proficient in process mapping tools
- Highly organised.
- Strong ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders
- Strong Emotional Intelligence
- Ability to perceive, manage, understand, and reason with emotions, as a team member, when managing others and when identifying the needs of disparate stakeholders with sensitivity.
- Qualifications in Srum, Kanban or related frameworks
- Qualifications in Organisational Change Management
- Knowledge and/or experience in ITIL
