Are you excited by the prospect of coaching others through the journey of transitioning to a digital and mobile workforce? We seek a passionate individual to join our Business Improvement team based at the Wagerup Refinery.
The primary role of the Business Improvement Specialist - Digital Solutions is to lead and demonstrate change through coordinating, deploying and supporting the workforce through the transition from manual and static processes to full interaction of mobile, digital and automated solutions.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Working with the various digital solution teams to deploy identified global solutions across site.
Provide front line support to line personnel as they journey to digital and mobile environments.
Coach individual department team leaders in the application of business improvement methods and Lean Manufacturing concepts to tackle business problems.
We see you as a conduit between our people – supporting the person end of day. This opportunity is offered Monday through Friday, with one flexible leisure day every four-week period!
About you
To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:
Natural inquisitiveness to test, modify and provide feedback as an end-user and for end-users of systems and processes.
A strong interest in software solutions and mobile applications. Prior knowledge of existing applications beneficial but not essential.
Proactive approach to work and be self-motivated.
Exposure and success in supporting workgroups through effective change management,
Highly developed interpersonal skills, with an ability to relate, influence and communicate with confidence to others in a professional manner!
Understanding of existing Alcoa systems and programs, as well as working knowledge of Power BI highly considered.
