Job description

An opportunity has become available for a professional and experienced Practice Manager to join our client’s team in a 4 chair practice in a full time capacity.  Your role is vital to the ongoing success of the practice, and you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the business for the prevision of dental care. 

The Role

  • You will be responsible for ensuring that the Practice is state of the art in terms of client’s services and back-end service systems, as this is what our patients and staff are accustomed to.
  • You will be located in Lara, a stone’s throw from beautiful Geelong CBD, and You Yangs Regional park
  • As the general manager you will report into the Director of the business and be an integral part of the leadership team.
Your Duties  
  • Oversee and coordinate the practice  to ensure effective and efficient day to day operations
  • Clinical staff rosters and management of team
  • Complete reporting on all financials and metrics of the business, working to targets and ensure the practice operates profitably
  • Implements all established Protocols and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ensure Performance reviews and plans are conducted  with emphasis on current KPI’s and consequent professional development and training of the team.
  • Develop and ensure that Reception and administrative services engage with clients and Practitioners and suppliers that is in a caring, professional, fair and productive manner. 
About You  
  • Previous leadership experience of at least 2 years as a Business or Practice Manager or similar role.  Dental and Health care clinic management not required.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, maintaining positive relationships and the ability to lead and communicate with your team in a positive and encouraging manner
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and a commitment to make a difference for our patients and practice
  • Proven abilities in administration, , and financial aspects of running a small business.
  • Ability to deliver a remarkable patient experience
  • Strong organisational skills, time management, computer literacy and written and oral communication skills
  • Flexibility to manage the ever-changing demands of a developing / growing practice in the present environment.
