This is a great opportunity to be an integral part of the Millovate team, as they lead the vision and development for The Mill, a large scale development consisting of 65 hectares of mixed-use space.
Reporting directly to the CEO of Millovate, this role will drive accountability of the business service functions, including:
- overseeing finances, budgets, procurement, audits and risk management;
- managing the shared service agreement with Moreton Bay Regional Council (MBRC); and
- providing CEO and board support functions.
The stakeholders are many and varied, as you work closely with Millovate and MBRC executive leadership teams, Board members, and senior staff to deliver a seamless professional service, acting as an intermediary to ensure service levels are maintained and quality working relationships fostered.
You will be encouraged to add value beyond this administrative / financial / reporting core to ensure Millovate is organised and well managed in its delivery of projects and industry outreach. This is a pivotal role to ensure the business services functions of Millovate are executed to a high standard.
About you
We are seeking an experienced senior manager, with significant demonstrated abilities managing financials and accounts, including providing Boards and executives with financial reports, forecasts and cash flow advice to drive well informed, savvy business decisions.
As a natural communicator, you will be well adept in building quality working relationships and confident in providing advice to executive levels.
You will be excited at the thought of being in a diverse role, and eager to get in and do whatever needs to be done, be it planning events, coordinating approvals, or managing annual calendars and plans. Your commercial acumen paired with exceptional attention to detail will ensure all projects and processes we undertake under the Millovate brand are well executed.
In addition, you'll bring:
- Knowledge and experience in the development and implementation of enterprise risk management processes and practices.
- Experience in managing Board processes to ensure strategic outcomes of the organisation are achieved and aligned to business priorities.
- Demonstrated project and event management skills with the ability to assist in the staging of industry and investment related projects.
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to use a collaborative approach to engage a diverse team to embrace organisational culture, direction and goals.
