The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the General manager, this role offers you the autonomy to manage a large project and make it your own, all whilst providing you the opportunity to carve out your career. In this role you will be coordinating all activities in relation to a large and exciting project including estimating, scheduling, coordinating resources, liaising with stakeholders and collating and maintaining data.
This is a critical role in our business and offers development and progression opportunities for the right candidate.
Your typical day will include:
Establishing and improving current processes for managing project works
Coordinating all aspects of the project works including estimating, scheduling, coordinating resources, collating and maintaining data and samples & preparing reports
Collaborating and communicating with internal and external stakeholders regarding project works
Providing support to internal teams to ensure adequate resources to effect the project
Identifying and managing risks for the project
Providing input into the strategy to manage the project
About you
To be successful in this role you will need the agility to work in ambiguous and changing environments and be able to maintain strict confidentiality. Additionally, you will have:
Experience in projects
Strong leadership capabilities
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Strong computer literacy and highly organised
A keen eye for detail and analytical way of thinking
A process-driven and methodical approach to your work
Be customer-oriented and solution focussed
A background in construction environments are advantageous
